Condition
Our collection of vintage Porsche Posters are graded either “Excellent”, Very Good”, “Good”, “Average” and “Poor”. We ask you to bear in mind that as our range of Porsche Posters are aged anywhere between 30 to 60 years old, they will all have some signs of their age, but we do aim to draw your attention to any defects or areas of damage in our descriptions and close up images.
Terminology
You will notice in our poster descriptions references to some unusual words or terms so here is our own interpretation of these words:
Fraying
Where the edges of the posters has become worn with tiny tears or roughness
Grinning
Where white shows through the printed colour
Rippling
Usually occurs to edges where heat or moisture has affected the paper at some point in it’s life
Creasing
Minor creases are usually seen in light reflection, whereas visible creases have been crushed to create a visible line, sometimes with print loss
Print loss
This is where the poster has lost areas of the top layer of printing, usually caused by tearing or rips
Colour loss
This is where a poster has faded, usually due to sunlight
Discolouration
This can occur either through accidential surface marks or mould
